ORANGE BREAD (using corn flour)


Corn flour---------------------- 1 cup
All purpose flour/maida-----1/4 cup
Powdered sugar---------------4 tbsp 
Salt------------------------------- 1/8 tsp
Yeast----------------------------- 1/4 tsp
Baking powder-----------------1 tsp
Orange juice--------------------1/4 cup (freshly squeezed)
Raisins----------------------------1 tbsp,chopped
Poppy seeds---------------------1/4 tsp
Egg-------------------------------- 2


  1. Mix corn flour,maida/all purpose flour,baking powder and salt in a bowl.
  2. Soak yeast in Luke warm water for 15 minutes.
  3. Separate egg white and yolk.
  4. Add powdered sugar to egg yolk and beat it good till it becomes smooth and fluffy.
  5. Beat egg white till it becomes fluffy.
  6. Now add beaten egg yolk and sugar mixture to the dry flour.
  7. Then add beaten egg white,yeast,orange juice,poppy seeds,chopped raisins or any dried fruits and melted butter and mix it good.
  8. Allow this to sit for 15 minutes.
  9. Mean while grease a baking tray with butter and dust dry corn flour in it. You can use non stick spray instead.
  10. Pour the bread mixture to the tray and glaze melted butter on top of it and bake in a preheated oven at 325 degree Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
  11. Check the bread using a pointed knife or fork.Run a knife or fork through the baked bread and if it comes out with out sticking to the knife or fork the bread is perfectly baked.
  12. Take it out from oven and flip the tray upside down and cut in desired shape.
  13. Orange bread is ready. Enjoy...
Note: Oven timings may vary depending on the oven you are using.

Mix all the ingredients to the flour

Bake in a preheated oven at 325F for 30 minutes

  10. corn flour we get here is in white color but u have shown it in red color what is the difference between both
