KOVAKKAI FRY (tindora/ivy gourd fry)



This is simple and easy recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

Kovakkai/tindora/ivy gourd-------1/2 cup, cut thinly round wise
Turmeric powder--------------------  1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder-------------------- 2tsp or to taste
Oil---------------------------------------- 2 tbsp
Salt to taste

METHOD:
  1. Mix red chilly powder,turmeric powder and salt to thinly sliced tindora/kovakkai.
  2. In a medium heat pan add oil and fry the tindora till slightly brown.
  3. Serve as side dish with rice.
Note: You can also deep fry it. In that case, cut tindora slightly thick.
